Laughing to yourself about the jovial nature of Yusuke Urameshi, you come to a plaque bearing the name Hiei. You feel something strange, a cold shiver down your spine and a stimulating wave of pleasure as you read his name. There's something about him that draws you here, you crave more knowledge . . . WHO IS THAT MAN??!!! You decide to read this plaque before entering his shrine.

For starters, Hiei is MINE. He is a Fire "Makai" Demon, I think...wait maybe it was Youkai...eh, Makai, Youkai, whateva ^_~. He is very good- looking, and when you first meet him you think he has a heart of ice. If he even has one. The sword he carries is stained with the blood of countless enemies. His eyes are large, except for the ruby irises; they are very small, for he is jaded and does not have innocent eyes by any means. But if you are his friend, or if he loves you (and YES Hiei can love), they will shine brighter than the full moon in the mountains . . .

His jet-black hair shines with blue and white highlights. He is even more muscular than Yusuke, but he is on the shorter side. All that meat wrapped up in a nice tight package =P haha! He can be cruel, he can be evil, he can kill, he can love, he can hate, he can fight to the death (as he always does), but he will never betray. Hiei's honor is not to be taken lightly.

Neither is the love for his half-sister, an ice apparition who was held captive and tortured so that she would cry (her tears create priceless jewels). The vengeful brother used his Gigon eye to track her location. Uponn reaching her, he slaughtered the men who held her captive, which horrified the innocent girl...as Hiei held the sword againt the last man's neck she begged him to spare his life, pleading for no more bloodshed. Hiei withdrew his sword, saying he would not make her cry anymore, and knocked the man unconscious. He let her leave without ever telling her that he was her brother.

Hiei, you're such a beautiful person . . . . he really is a mystery. Hiei was devastated when the Blue Dragon demon, Seiryu, slaughtered his own ally Byakko, the White Tiger. Seiryu mocked Byakko and said he was weak as he shot him with an ice blast. This injustice angered Hiei and he killed Seiryu. This act of passion amazed Yusuke and Kuwabara. Eventually Hiei eventually wins the affection of Yusuke, Kuwabara, and, of course, Kurama, who he was already in league with, but they'd had minor tussles at first (Hiei originally hated Yusuke and had sliced Yusuke's girlfriend Keiko with his sword to make her a demon). But hey, all ended well, and Hiei's good side is winning over. He really respects Yusuke, and deep down he doesn't want the humans to die. He and Kuranma are assigned protectors for Yusuke and Kuwabara, and they fight on their team in the Dark Martial Arts Competition (Dark Tournament for short). But he may never be able to use his right arm again after using a devastating technique called The Dragon of the Darkness Flame to win a round against some blond demon (damnit the one name I forget). The move burned and immobilized his right arm. He was in so much pain . . . . but the arm heals from the power of a forcefield made by a demoness named Ruka...OK YOU KNOW WHAT JUST WATCH THE SHOW IT WOULD MAKE THINGS A LOT EASIER AND IT'S A VERY GOOD SHOW :p
